Quick trip to San Sebatian

A few months ago, we took Paul to the sea museum “Musee de la Mer” and he absolutely loved it. Although while we were there he didn’t seem very interested, on our way home and during the following weeks he kept on telling us stories about fish. As a side note, I find it interesting how toddlers seem to be unimpressed with an event, but later on you realize that they were totally captured by the new discovery.

A few days ago we wanted to surprise Paul with another trip to the sea museum. Because we are trying to take advantage of the fact that we live in proximity to so many interesting attractions, our stop for the day was the San Sebastian Aquarium.

San Sebastian is a charming town located in northern Spain, about 20 km from the border with  France.

At the end of the day, we drove home with an enthusiastic little boy who was fascinated with the many things that our adult eyes couldn’t see. Creating memories for Paul is fun and without realizing, brings us closer to long forgotten childhood memories.
