How about a healthier, lighter alternative to the usual holiday party cookies/cakes? Check out these fruit kebabs I made for Paul’s school party this year
This is a quick, easy and healthy party food that can be adapted to every season/occasion. You can think of it as fruit salad on a stick 🙂
The preparation/assembly time was about 30 minutes.
The final plate was very much appreciated at the party – everything was gone within the first 15 minutes.
Next time, I will be more careful to chose different colors fruit in order to bring more visual vibrance.
Fruits I’ve used:
- 1 pineapple
- 2 bananas
- 2 pears
- 2 golden apples
- 2 red apples
- kebab sticks
I proceeded to washing and cutting in little squares al the fruit, as below:
As an option, I added melted dark chocolate to jazz it up and make it more appealing for the kids.
And here’s the final product! 🙂
